The bedroom is one of the most important parts of any home, and for me, I must have all of my comfort stem from this location. This includes, filling the space with things of warmth and familiarity while still incorporating a particular style. For a while I've wanted to create a vintage feel, but who knows how it'll turn out. My mind tends to change as I go... Either way, check out some of my purchases so far, what I plan to buy in the future, and a some of my inspiration along the way! :) -SBG
So, props to South Philly IKEA...the first time I went, the service was NOT good...but alas, I came to terms w/ it being a self serve store. Now Im in there every other day. smh. Either way, just had the followin delivered...YES, IKEA delivers! one flat fee...assembly isn't included (frown) but, dont you love this deep brown? Finding the perfect bed, at a good price was difficult for me. My stipulation was to have a solid/partially solid backboard in order to be able to sit up and do work on the bed. Bad practice really but alas...

...got these pretty lace curtains too..I started off with a pack of 2 panels, but ended up getting 4 total to make them look heavier...
...looking for a round table as a nightstand...something like whats below by Marcel Wanders for Cappellini.
or this one I found on Polyvore.com ...
This old style seat from Urban Outfitters looks so appropriate for the reading nook I have pictured in my head. I love its roundness...
